A good screen capture tool is something you’ll probably wish you had at some point. Whether you need it for a quick YouTube grab or to capture some online news bit for a portfolio or story, finding a good one can be tricky. The key is ease of use. If you spend all your time configuring and programming what’s the point? You want and need an app that’ll do everything you want, record a video with audio and size the recording window to what’s needed, and do it quickly with as little pain as possible. iShowU might just be the program for you. I’m still learning the in’s and out’s but so far I’ve found it to be useful but not overwhelming. And it’s simple and affordable at $30. It saves the files in .mov format for easy Final Cut editing as well.
