Air Hogs Hawk Eye Review

A quick review I put together of the Air Hogs Hawk Eye helicopter. It can take up to 5 minutes of video at a resolution of 320×240 or hundreds of photos at a resolution of 640×480. I’ve had fun with it even if flying it can be a little frustrating at first. Once it’s flying and under control it’s neat. Not the best images but it’s a toy.

Great review, I gather you were a little disappointed, but given the cost, the level of disappointment is bearable.

The double-rotor or “coaxial” helicopters were never designed to fly in *any* wind. You may have better success flying indoors. If the forward flight is too excessive, try adding a small amount of weight to the back to see if that slows the forward flight any (is there a build-in adjustment?)

    Happy flying!
