DADSASTER Show 30: Cyberbullying

I recently had the please to speak about cyberbullying with two wonderful dads on the Podcast Show Dadsaster. Each week Mark Staufer and Bryan Erwin discuss the “challenges of fatherhood in an honest and comedic way with celebrity guest dads and tips, workarounds and examples from their own family-life”.

[box type=”info” align=”alignleft” ]Around half of teenagers have been victims of cyber-bullying, and only one in ten tells their parents. We talk to courageous dad GLEN CANNING whose 17-year-old daughter committed suicide after being the victim of sexual assault and bullying. IRENE VAN DER SANDE of KIDPOWER explores ways you can prevent this happening to your child, and mommy blogger NICOLE KNEPPER also offers advice.

Here’s a link to the really helpful KIDPOWER article that IRENE referenced: http://www.kidpower.org/library/article/cyber-bullying/

Here’s a link to the bullying post NICOLE was talking about: http://www.chicagonow.com/moms-who-drink-and-swear/2013/10/bullying-sucks-how-not-to-be-a-mean-ahole/ and you can follow her on Twitter @queenofcussin[/box]
