Sexual assault overturned by N.S. Court

When justice in Nova Scotia gets it wrong they really go for it. He was 32 – his victim was 14 – the age of consent is 16.

Pretty clear cut case unless we allow for the systems 99.7% failure rate when it comes to sexual violence to operate it’s amazing wonder and free him on a technicality.

Because justice.

Nova Scotia’s highest court has overturned a sexual assault conviction against Stephen Taweel, who was convicted in August 2014 for an assault that police and crown say happened in 1991 and involved a 14-year-old girl.

    Statutory rape is statutory rape. He should have been castrated. No overturning that.
