“Rehtaeh” is about the systemic failures that led to the death of Rehtaeh Parsons in 2013 and is, as Adam puts it “maybe the most important song I’ll ever write.”
Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, singer and son writer Adam Baldwin sent me an acoustic version of a song he wrote about Rae. It’s a beautiful song and I am grateful he gave us and her such a touching gift.
Give it a listen and don’t forget about his new album coming in June.
With all my heart, thank you Adam.
