Goodbye Ozzy #RehtaehParsons

Early this morning we said goodbye to our little guy, Ozzy. He was 13 years old.

I first met Ozzy at the SPCA after I received a frantic call from Rehtaeh. She was 10 years old at the time and did volunteer work there. Someone abandoned a six month old pug and that was it. Rehtaeh was holding me to my word that some day I’d get a small dog.

Rae named him Ozzy.

Two weeks later Ozzy accepted us as his companions for life. We loved every second we had with him. He brought nothing but joy and laughter to our lives and welcomed us home with happy chatter every single day.

This morning Ozzy ran to the light and into Rehtaeh’s arms. I know they are both so happy to see each other.

We’re broken into a million pieces, again.

This little guy was our world. We will miss him very much.

Rest in Peace old Pug Ozzy. Death is the ultimate in family reunion. We are surrounded by love by those we leave behind and greeted and surrounded by love by those who went before us. As a animal lover I grieve with you and wife and family. Ozzy and Rae together again.
