Iceland is Magnificent

Iceland has been incredible. We arrived in Reykjavik early Sunday via Icelandic Air from Toronto. Once on the ground and through customs (it took about 5 seconds to clear), we headed out to pick up the camper van we rented from Kuku Campers. The van is small but has everything we need including a heater that can run all night. We learned quick [...]

World War Re-Creation

Citadel Hill had a World War re-creation display this past weekend. It featured costumes and equipment from the First and Second World Wars as well as older weapons. It was a nice way to spend an afternoon. The people involved did a tremendous job. I'm still finding new ways to shoot my Fuji X100T. I did all of these in black and white. [...]

It's proving be an amazing street photography camera as it makes very little noise and it doesn't have the looks of a big DSLR camera/lens combo. Ecuador so far has been interesting. We were thinking of moving here to retire but changed o [...]

The Skogafoss Falls of Iceland and Rehtaeh

[su_quote cite="TC"]Good Morning Glen I have been travelling through Iceland this past week and placed a Rehtaeh Parsons stone at the foot of Skogafoss this morning. It is very peaceful and beautiful place.[/su_quote] One of the last movies Rehtaeh and I planned to see together was Prometheus. I'm a sci-fi fan and I've dragged her to a few of my fi [...]
